Hi, I’m the maker behind Twin Threads.

Creativity has always been a part of my life, from making friendship bracelets when I was younger to working my very first job at Joann Fabrics. In 2020, I rediscovered macrame as a grounding and creative outlet while coping with grief after losing my twin brother.

Being a twin has shaped so much of my life. My younger brother and sister are twins as well, and all four of us share the same birthday, five years apart. My twin brother inspired me endlessly. His energy, kindness, and belief in me pushed me to pursue my dreams, from earning my master’s degree in School Counseling to eventually starting this business.

Creating became a calming space for me, a way to slow down, process, and reconnect with myself. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something I wanted to share with others. Since starting Twin Threads and joining local craft fairs in 2021, I’ve fallen in love with creating cozy, earthy macrame pieces that bring warmth and joy into people’s homes.

When I’m not creating, you can usually find me outdoors hiking or camping, listening to reggae or lo-fi music, sipping coffee with loved ones, or enjoying life at a slower pace.
